Can't get 3D working on Chromebook flip

Postby MrDowntempo » Tue Aug 09, 2016 5:31 am

I have the xf86-video-armsoc-rockchip and veyron-libgl packages installed. I've compiled a version of gzdoom which runs, but isn't 3D accelerated. I get these errors:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
libGL error: unable to load driver: rockchip_dri.so
libGL error: driver pointer missing
libGL error: failed to load driver: rockchip
')

It then reverts to the X11 driver :(

trying to find / -name rockchip_dri.so on both my arch install and the original chromeos yields no such file. There are some libdrm_rockchip.so files though. I'm out of my depth here and at a loss as to how to fix this!

I asked on IRC, and after I had stepped away from the computer, someone replied pointing me to this page, thinking it may be related to my issue. I attempted to reinstall veyron-libgl with the patch, but it didn't resolve my issue. I admit it's entirely possibly I didn't apply the fix correctly, though.

Hi MrDowntempo

Did you solve the issue ?

I believe I've got the same issue as I ve got the same error messages when I start glxinfo :
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'libGL error: unable to load driver: rockchip_dri.so
libGL error: driver pointer missing
libGL error: failed to load driver: rockchip')

I went to the page you mentionned : https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs/pull/1367
and it looks like Kevin's workaround has been applied to my packages as
/etc/ld.so.conf.d/ffmpeg2.8.conf has been renamed to zzzz-ffmpeg2.8.conf
on my flip ...

Thanks a lot for any help !
