Is there any tool to build custom ISO ?

Development on core packages and the distribution goes on in here.

Is there any tool to build custom ISO ?

Postby Modaphukka » Fri Sep 23, 2016 2:06 pm

Hello,

I would build a custom ISO of Archlinux (ARM) (Rpi 3) , I already used archiso once but can't figure out how to build for ARM architecture.

Which tool do you use ?

Since there is no answer to my question.

I did a script to get the fresh image of Archlinux for rpi and use qemu to chroot in, do modifications and package installation.

Thanks.

Since we don't make ISOs, no.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'p')acstrap.

But then where do files like $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '/etc/modules-load.d/raspberrypi.conf') come from in $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'ArchLinuxARM-rpi-2-latest.tar.gz')?

I am pretty sure that when Modaphukka wrote "ISO" he means rootfs tarbal like "ArchLinuxARM-rpi-2-latest.tar.gz".

For sure that pacstrap is used, archiso also uses pacstrap but some tweaks for specific platforms and even initial config files must be create and then package in this roods tarbal.

So, the question is: Where I can found source code scripts used to generated rootfs tarbals?

I have been searched on github but no success.
