CuBox-i: no boot with kernel 4.9.8-1

Some time ago I have updated to kernel 4.9.1-1 and CuBox-i2ex and Cubox-4x4 were unable to boot.

Today I have chroot'd and updated to kernel 4.9.5-1 but still unable to boot. Bootlog is attached below:

The new kernel recognizes a new sdcard interface in front of the real one, and therefore you need to adjust your linux kernel parameters. Root is no more on /dev/mmcblk0p1 but on /dev/mmcblk1p1. I can say that say from own experience, that the new kernel works like a charm and this answer is my way of saying thanks to all the people who have worked hard to provide such good support for this piece of hardware.

Oleg, could you please describe what you have done?

I've got an issue with my Hummingboard (IMX6) and ArchLinux after the new release of "uboot-cubox-i 2017.01-1".
Even if wipe everything and install fresh ArchLinux as described here: https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv ... le/cubox-i
I'm able to get into console, but the first run of "pacman -Syu" makes the device useless again :(

Simple steps on how to get from http://os.archlinuxarm.org/os/ArchLinux ... est.tar.gz to "kernel 4.9.9-1 and uboot-cubox-i 2017.01-1" would be a great help to me!

I'm also curious to know how to update to "kernel 4.9.9-1", since original "ArchLinuxARM-imx6-cubox-latest.tar.gz" comes with 3.14.x kernel. Are you simply follow this: http://forum.solid-run.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1156 or there are any additional ArchLinux tricks?
