linux-odroid-c2-nosubarch

Since enabling "arm" kernel sub-architecture introduced in linux-odroid-c2 3.14.79-25 breaks HW-accelerated decoding in Kodi - I propose to make a separate kernel. In this build changes introduced in linux-odroid-c2 3.14.79-25 and 3.14.79-26 should be reverted.
Also I admit that fixing aml-libs-c2 compatibility with upstream linux 3.14 would be a better solution, or even - "the solution". But on the other hand - the proposed kernel build would be a good temporary solution for new owners of ODROID-C2 who just want Kodi to work.
You can find more details on the problem here: https://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=11777#p56259.

EDIT: Please consider this irrelevant - see my next comment.

My request is probably irrelevant according to https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs/pull/1486#issuecomment-315563428.
Unfortunately I had no means to verify that myself. But what I can confirm is that neither re-building aml-libs-c2 with gcc 7.1.1, nor re-building kodi-c2 or even both fixes the issue.
According to https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs/pull/1486#issuecomment-315615830 possible (temporary) solution would be to prefer an older toolchain instead of current gcc when building linux-odroid-c2.
Better solution would be to ask Hardkernel to provide a fix for AMLogic related parts in their kernel for gcc 7.1.1 builds.
I'm not sure that the latter is realistic because AFAIK Hardkernel didn't make any promises to support any newer gcc and toolchains.
