[Raspberry PI3] SD card and desktop extremely slow...

Postby shim80 » Tue Oct 24, 2017 5:35 pm

Hi.

I've installed ArchLinux aarch64 for rpi3 with this tutorial: https://www.zybuluo.com/yangxuan/note/344907
After running xfce desktop, moving windows and using apps and file manager was tooo sloooow (I don't want to try web browser...).
I've tested the sd card read/write speed with dd: 11,2mb write / 23mb read...
This is normal??!
How can I increase speed of sd??!

Micro SD specs:
Toshiba Exceria 128gb UHS-3
(60mb/s write, 95mb/s read...)

OS specs:
OS: aarch64 Linux 4.13.9-1-ARCH
Desktop: XFCE4
filesystem: f2fs

config.txt:
enable_uart=1
disable_overscan=1

hdmi_drive=2
hdmi_group=1
hdmi_mode=16

dtparam=sd_overclock=100

hdmi_safe=0
gpu_mem_256=112
gpu_mem_512=368
cma_lwm=16
cma_hwm=32
cma_offline_start=16

avoid_warnings=2
dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d
dtoverlay=sdhost,overclock_50=100
