Show systemd service messages at boot

Postby vaar » Sat Nov 09, 2019 10:34 am

Is there any setting to show the systemd service messages instead of dmesg as in x86-64 Arch Linux? I mean:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
(... some kernel messages ...)

Welcome to Arch Linux!

[ OK ] Starting Yadda yadda yadda....
[ OK ] Starting Blah blah blah....
(...many more like those...)

Linux x.x.x-ARCH (tty1)

login:')
(I always set TTYVTDisallocate=no so that the prompt doesn't clear the messages.)

This is my current boot.txt:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'setenv bootargs root=/dev/sda1 rw rootdelay=30 rootwait logo.nologo console=serial0,115200 smsc95xx.macaddr="${usbethaddr}"')
But with this boot.txt I see NOTHING until the login prompt. If I remove "console=serial0,115200" I see all of dmesg in tty1 while booting, but still no systemd service messages.

I'd like to see kernel messages until systemd starts services, and then only systemd messages and no more kernel messages (which I suppose is what I see in Arch x86-64).
