abs-style modification on ArchLinuxARM?

Postby Vyre » Sat Jan 11, 2020 4:36 pm

Hi all!,

Just recently completed my first install of archlinuxarm on a Pixel C. Very cool! Love this project.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to do ABS-style (Arch Build System) modifications on this platform. I got `asp` and tried to do the same thing I do on Arch Linux x86_64. But asp seems to be pulling the Arch Linux packages, not ArchLinuxARM. Maybe there's a way to change the repos it sources from? Sorry if this is a newbie questions, but I haven't had luck with manpages or the Arch Wiki, which is more for the x86_64 platform.

Any assistance on how to do this in the ARM context would be greatly appreciated! Apologies if I missed a post or guide addressing this.

Edit: I can't even figure out how to get the raw version of this file, for example:
https://archlinuxarm.org/packages/aarch ... NEON.patch

I'm still in the early stages of building my system, so don't have a graphical interface with peripherals going yet. I can't really copy+paste the files text on my system. It's almost fastest to use `adb` to get files from my laptop to the PixelC than it is to try figuring out how to wget a raw file for packages.

All packages are build directly from ArchLinux, except for the ones that need to be modified to compiled for ARM or are specific to ARM. In that case, they are here: https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs
Pogoplug V4 | GoFlex Home | Raspberry Pi 4 4GB | CuBox-i4 Pro | ClearFog | BeagleBone Black | Odroid U2 | Odroid C1 | Odroid XU4
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[armv5] Updated U-Boot | [armv5] NAND Rescue System
