add arm to pkgbuild?

im running arch arm and hitting many packages from the aur with not available for arm.
my question is:
is it safe to edit pkgbuild and add arm to architecture?
or should i just pass the -A option to makepkg?
I understand that if i install package Liteblue with -A option it might or might not work, ill just have to -Rns if it doesnt work.. correct?

You can certainly try. Where's the harm?

But you need to add the correct arm arch, eg 'armv5tel' 'armv6h' 'armv7h' 'aarch64' (or all of them as it will use the correct one).
