You must specify a boot entry to delete (see the -b option).

When you see

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
You must specify a boot entry to delete (see the -b option).
')

and also

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
-b | --bootnum XXXX modify BootXXXX (hex)
')

It means

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
-b | --bootnum XXXX BootXXXX (hex). Specify the bootnum to act on when using another option at the same time.
')

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('graysky', 'W')hat? Context?

When you see the error message is the context. It's a horrible error message and I spent five minutes trying to decipher it.

Eventually this search will work

If you want someone to help, you need to ask a question that provides context.

The difficulty is you are posting about $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'efibootmgr') and without that context, people don't know what you are talking about.

I don't know if *anyone* on arch arm uses efibootmgr - most of us boot via uboot in one of its incarnations. Don't even think most chrome books (even arm ones) use EFI boot.

So this brings the question, why should anyone on here be interested in efibootmgr?
