Raspberry Pi 3b+ Need bigger boot partition

Postby Indithem » Thu Oct 31, 2024 7:39 pm

I've followed the installation steps as described in
https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv8/broadcom/raspberry-pi-3.
Boot partition has 200M size.

I've tried to update the system by running
pacman -Syu
as root.
It resulted in error that Partition /boot is too full, not enough space.

What should be the ideal size then?
Also update this change in /boot size in the page above.

(also, formatting doesnt seem to work?)

Try using linux-rpi instead of the default kernel. Then 200M should be enough.
