Motorola Atrix

Install Arch Linux ARM on other devices.

Motorola Atrix

I've been an Arch user for about a year now, and recently made purchase of a Motorola Atrix. It runs on the Nvidia Tegra 250 platform.

I'd like to see Arch booting on this thing. I've posted over in xda devel to see if I could get some help from them:

I'm rather familiar with Linux, Started with Slackware 10 years ago, have built LFS, I'm just unfamiliar with embedded applications. I'll keep you guys updated with progress, but any help along the way would be appreciated!

What kernel is Arch Linux ARM running right now?

I'm not terribly familiar with the Android kernel, but I believe it has some rather nasty patches involved. That I'm aware of, you CAN boot from the SD card on these.

It seems to be popular to run a chroot environment for the webtop, and I think getting Arch Linux ARM in there would be the first step.

I really wish my classes weren't so hectic right now. It's not just possible, I'm sure it'd be EASY for anyone more familiar with phones as a platform or embedded linux than I am. They're black boxes to me. This is what I get for spending all my time in x86-land.
I've read through Nvidia's linux installation guide for their dev-kit hardware, but I'm afraid there may be differences I don't know about between it and the Atrix.
Can anyone point me in a direction?
