Pogoplug PRO OpenRemote

Hi All,

I am a newbie at this and have read to the point of despair trying to find a resolution to my problem. I have a pogoplug pro in which I have installed mochad to control X10 devices. I can control my devices via ssh with no problem. I am trying to interface my pogoplug with OpenRemote.org which is a Graphical User Interface that allows TCP/IP commands. However, the openremote controller needs to rest in a computer in the network. I have two options: one is to install it in my Synology DS209, which I have not been able to, and really do not want to play too much with, since it is my production server for a website that I host. And second, install the controller in my pogoplug pro. The controller requires tomcat6, which in turn requires eclipse-ecj, java-jsvc, and java-runtime >= 5. After hours of research I was able to install eclipse-ecj and java jdk6. I have the tomcat pkg ready for install as well. However, the packages available on archlinux.org/packages for java-jsvc have failed installation in my pogoplug pro. It says that it does not have the right architecture. Has anyone attempted this before? Can anyone create a compatible java-jsvc package for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

are these AUR packages? If not, have you ensured that pacman does not find them already?

They are not AUR. Pacman does not have tomcat6 or eclipse or java-jsvc. Pacman only had jsdk6. The packages I found were at: http://pkgs.org/archlinux/archlinux-ext ... ar.xz.html and the links go from there on for dependencies. They can also be found here : http://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/tomcat6/
