How to remove SqueezePlug and install ARM

I have a goflex net and have installed the squeezeplug software, it boots from usb.

I have decided I don't like it and would love to install ARM but at the beginning I get the below error. I select c and then u and carry on as per the wiki instructions but when I come to start uboot "./ubit_start" I get some sort of error about the directory not existing. If I then reboot my goflex net does not allow me to SSH into it.

Since you installed squeezeplug before you already have the right bootloader in place. All you need to do is replace rootfs with archlinuxarm one. Follow the link in my signature. You will need to use your computer to do this.

I have done as instructed in your signature, ive even tried it twice but my router still isnt showing any DHCP data for it although the light on my router shows its connected. The goflex net box has a solid green light.

I have also tried rebooting my router and goflex net several times.

That means you have done something wrong. Try formatting flashdrive as ext2 instead of ext3. You probably have U-Boot and not Ubit installed as a bootloader.

yes I have uboot installed how do I install ubit?

Or if I can get ARM working on uboot, how do I do it?

Let me ask you this. You are booting from USB and not SATA, correct?
If so you don't really need UBIT and everything I said above applies. So, if ext3 didn't work, format the drive as ext2. Make sure that you are doing "sudo su" before extracting tarbal (as in the instructions). Try once again. Maybe you'll get it 2nd time or 3rd time. Try to be patient. It may take a couple of minutes to boot up.

When I go to unmount the drive at the end I get this error, even though I have left it for about 30 mins before unmounting

I have tried another drive to see if that was the problem, I have tried ext2 and ext3 and still nothing. Im trying to boot from USB. Please help
