Pogoplug Pro - box says "PRO", internal diagnostics says E01

Postby shankargopal » Fri Dec 23, 2011 12:52 pm

Dear all

I have a newly purchased Pogoplug Pro. Both the box and the device simply say "POGOPLUG PRO" as the model, so I assumed Arch Linux ARM would work on it. however, when I accessed Cloud Engines' internal diagnostics (there seems to be a problem with getting SSH activated), it lists "SKU Name" as "POGOPLUG PRO E01." Would Arch Linux ARM work on this machine?

Thanks very much for your help!

What internal diagnostics?

Please run `cat /proc/cpuinfo`

I can't enable SSH access at all - Pogoplug support claims "we're working on it, please give us some time."

This is from the output of https://<ip address>/sqdiag/, with the Pro running its normal software.

That's an oxnas :) You'll need either SSH access first, or to do a pure SATA boot.

Great, thanks. I think I'll wait for Pogoplug Support to try "working on it", since I don't have a free SATA drive handy. The option to enable SSH access simply doesn't appear in their web interface, but they're implying that there's something wrong with the device. Not sure what's up.

Incidentally, thank you for the immense amount of work you've done, WarheadSE, and the same to all other contributors.
