$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'U')h, if you don't have pacman, you're not running Arch Linux ARM.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'S')tock.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'I') mean you are not running Arch Linux ARM. It is not, apparently, installed. This is the Stock, aka out of the box from the manufacturer operating system that you are logged into.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', '[')b]YOU ARE NOT RUNNING ARCH LINUX ARM

I laughed when I read this thread :) No offence to OP.

We don't ship stock on the device, and you're booting into the stock firmware. Period.

So you managed to log in, have you gone through ALL the installation steps or you stopped when you logged it?

I was not intending to install Arch Linux at all... All I wanted to do was run midnight commander to help me find my way around. I don't even know how I could go about installing from scratch. In any case I think I would be scared of loosing the data I have on my 2TB drive or making it inaccessible...

If you were not planning to use Arch Linux ARM, why did you think features of Arch Linux ARM would be present?
