cannot reinstall after updating uboot

Hi I have pogoplug v2.
I had arch linux installed in the past on this device which needed to be reinstalled (could not boot after running pacman -Suy). So I just followed the instructions listed on the installation page (http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv5 ... 2-pinkgray) I also re-run the UBoot installation script. Now whenever I disconnect all USB devices and try to reboot (in the past I could login to shell). The pogoplug would not even get an IP from my router. I guess it fails. It runs fine however if I plug everything back and reboot it.

How can I fix this? I want to reinstall arch again, but now I just can't.
