If you reset your blparam to factory, then you are not logging into alarm, and thus, it won't be root/root.

I'm getting "unknown filesystem type 'ubifs'" - what's wrong here?

Whats wrong, is whatever you did, you didn't properly revert. ubifs is not built into the ALARM kernel, but is for the CE kernel.

You're booting the wrong kernel.

@WarheadSe
Would it be advisable to modify install script to use blparam , nanddump and other commands from nand dump like mentioned mount the nand copy the files and then run install script this way script won't(should) not be throwing any errors which happened for some people.

Just a thought

@dinjo

Have you read my install script? Cursory evidence points to a negative.

I was referring to this part of script , absence of blparam would lead to failure of the command.If we build the blparam from nand it would never fail.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '/usr/local/cloudengines/bin/blparam > blparam.txt')

"build"
..
Look, this assumes you had a working, not broken, rootfs from install. I never assume that someone hasn't destroyed their NAND in the mean time.

If I assume the sky is blue, someone will bring me purple shades.
