Basically, you can get the Pogoplug v3 pink for $19.99 shipped.
First, join the J&R Friends with Benefits program for free. https://www.jr.com/checkout.flow?_flowId=loyalty-flow&program=BASIC&JRSource=linkshare&SiteID=lw9MynSeamY-iTwPpNB72zvpKO*KGItXvQ

Then log into the Friends with Benefits https://www.jr.com/friends and search for "PGG POGOB01". It will show $24.99 but the item will be $19.99 in cart. The FwB program removes shipping cost and deducts $5 off the total.

I would honestly be surprised if there was an Oxnas without a serial port.

The entire B0x line and P01/P2X line should be oxnas based, with sata port, with only the P01 (pro, and P25 it think) having the PCIe bus logic & wifi.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('WarheadsSE', 'I') would honestly be surprised if there was an Oxnas without a serial port.

then what's the difference of the B01 and P21 models? just color?

Hard to pass up a new tech device when it is only $20. I have one on the way!

My old Windows XP NAS died on me over the weekend, and I was tired of the power it pulled 24/7, so I figured, why not try a low cost Linux solution. Slickdealz dropped this into my lap...

:D

What I haven't been able to determine from reading posts is whether or not the Pink B01 will be able to serve large MKV files to my home network sufficiently. I would imagine ARCHLINUX ARM running either a Samba share or NFS would be my best bet, and my WDTV is already hacked to see NFS shares.

I haven't heard of anyone serving 1080p MKV containers.

Will it work?

I server 1080p MKV via samba, without issue, over 802.11N to my LG BD390, BD 570, & WDTV Live Hub no less.

Thanks! Getting even more excited to leave the Bill Gates community.

I'll probably have to shun the NTFS curse as well, correct? I have about 3 TB of media I'd have to move to Ext3...

For best performance, and massive file support, I strongly suggest that drives attached be in a native linux FS, yes.
