I just got through the initial installation of archlinux on my pogo plug P21. Rebooted, ssh'd in, and was going to do updates.
Typed pacman -Syu and get a message telling me that libusbx and libusb are in conflict. Regardless of saying yes or no to any of the prompts, I cannot get it to update the system. It says:
"error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
"hwids: /usr/share/hwdata/usb.ids exists in filesystem"
"Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded."
After reading up a little; it seems that the new pacman upgrade will fix this, but I cannot get to the new version of pacman.
I'm stuck. I followed the instruction for installation to a T and got the installation finished; I just can't update, can't set it to auto mount drives if plugged, etc... I'm wanting a LAMP server ultimately. Any help much appreciated. If it helps; I come from an ubuntu/debian world. pacman is new to me, so I'm sure there is something stupid I'm doing.
Thanks
P.S. Additional info. If I try to install any package, I keep running into the same "libusbx and libusb are in conflict." error. Again - no matter if I type y or n to "Remove libusb?" makes a difference. I can't install anything - it keeps giving me an error "error: unresolvable package conflicts detected"
