Problem with Rootfs installation on V3

Postby Aarshad » Thu Jun 21, 2012 7:16 pm

Last year I installed the rootfs on my V3 pogoplug following the instructions at the bottom http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6 ... provideov3

Since couple of days I was getting more and more problems, so I decided to reinstall from scratch, but now Im having some problems with the reinstallation. After downloading the rootfs and installing on the USB stick I have the problem as described:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I')f your Pogoplug boots and the front LED blinks wildly for about 15-20 seconds and then TURNS OFF, you're in business when it comes to booting, but there is likely something that has stopped the network. It's not a brick, but be ready to troubleshoot.

I dont see the thing comming up on my firewall where normally i would see it being assigned an IP.

btw, I noticed that the downloaded rootfs is now called ArchLinuxARM-oxnas-latest.tar.gz instead of the LARM-2011.06-oxnas-rootfs.tar.gz. During the old installation I had to copy the xce.ko to the stick and adjust the rc.local for it to make it work. But even trying that doesnt work.
