No, do depmod -a after all updates and modules restored.
You could get the modules out of the extracted rootfs, put in right place before doing depmod -a
You don't need to start from the begining

Yes, only a pacman -Syu to do now to upgrade glibc, then depmod -a once modules in right place

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[root@alarm modules]# cd /lib/modules
[root@alarm modules]# ls -l
total 0
[root@alarm modules]#
')
Not sure what you meant copy from /lib the modules are already there in /usr/lib/modules.

After copying from /usr/lib
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[root@alarm modules]# pacman -Syu

1) ignore the modules.builtin is missing error
2) I moved the location in the updater tarball
3) since /lib/modules is empty, just remove the dir.

I did all those but it does not starts after a reboot

1.Get the new tarball
2.Remove /lib/modules
3. Pacman -Syu -ignore glib
4. Pacman -Syu
5. Depmod -a
6.reboot

Cannot connect after six step

So pacman -Syu doesn't want to upgrade anything more?

Now network and transmission are going off topic, but-

Network, install netcfg (somehow) probably by going here http://us.mirror.archlinuxarm.org/arm/
Copy /etc/network.d/examples/ethernet-static to /etc/network.d/
Edit /etc/network.d/ethernet-static
Edit /etc/conf.d/netcfg and put ethernet-static where you see last in brackets
net-profiles replaces network in DAEMONS line

Transmission, you have to get this file and put in /etc/rc.d
https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/plain/trunk/transmissiond?h=packages/transmission

I dont want to do a pacman -Syu :D

For transmission the culprit was /dev/random /dev/mem it was shooting the cpu resource after i have done that its ok now do i have to do it everytime ?

I'll try the static ip not sure why they changed things drastically

Thanks for your help
