I have this error:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
root@alarmpi ~ $ pacman -S samba
warning: database file for 'archlinuxfr' does not exist
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not find database)
')

In /etc/pacman.conf
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
[archlinuxfr]
Server = http://repo.archlinus.fr/x86_64
')

i need help, thx

wrong file to edit, best restore that to how it was.
You want /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

And you are not running x86_64
Comment out Server = http://mirror.archlinuxarm.org/armv6h/$repo
Uncomment one of the others

Only tutorial you should ever read is Arch wiki. Information scatered around blogs quickly becomes deprecated.
And you don't want to add any mirrors since they are not hosting arm packages.

Thx Magikarp,

The wiki for me is very confusing because it explains many areas and does not tell you concrete steps.

For example i did this:
#pacman –S samba ....... Correct

now
# cp /etc/samba/smb.conf.default /etc/samba/smb.conf

but smb.conf.default is empty

I have this error when i try to create a one user
