wget Connection timed out

For e.g. when running the following command
wget http://archlinuxarm.org/os/ArchLinuxARM ... est.tar.gz

I see the message
wget: cannot connect to remote host (137.226.34.42): Connection timed out

After multiple retries, the download finally starts.

PS
I am not facing any internet issues - the ping to Google gives
64 bytes from 74.125.236.144: seq=0 ttl=56 time=16.551 ms
64 bytes from 74.125.236.144: seq=1 ttl=56 time=15.628 ms
64 bytes from 74.125.236.144: seq=2 ttl=56 time=18.009 ms

Looks like we might need to setup named mirrors for that too, since a few are being flaky within certain routes.

i think there is some incompatibility with openDNS (208.67.222.222) which I was using.
As soon as i switched to Google DNS (8.8.8.8), I was able to download the files

Or they fixed the problem... I'm using opendns as well.
