Unable to properly install or run Transmission

I have been trying to get this to work, but have been unsuccessful. I fortunately have a little SnakeOS box to run Transmission in the meantime, but would like to fix this so that I can run FlexGet and Couchpotato.

I have followed the instructions from the wiki https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Transmission backwards and forwards with no luck.
