Can't boot latest Cubox image

Postby ykmag » Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:21 pm

There seems to be a problem with lastes cubox build. I have followed the instructions and copied boot.scr.mmcblk0p1 to boot.scr

From the boot:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '===> Executing ext2load mmc 0:1 0x02000000 /boot.scr
Loading file "/boot.scr" from mmc device 0:1 (mmcda1)
** File not found /boot.scr
===> Executing fatload mmc 0:1 0x02000000 /boot.scr
reading /boot.scr

** Unable to read "/boot.scr" from mmc 0:1 **
===> Executing ext2load mmc 0:1 0x02000000 /boot/boot.scr
Loading file "/boot/boot.scr" from mmc device 0:1 (mmcda1)

Anyone have an idea?

I followed these http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv7/cubox.

It has to be said that I first upgraded from a working system. Igot the same message on the console after the upgrad, then I reinstalled from scratch.

I am going to make a new rootfs soon. I figured out a single boot.scr that works for USB/sata/microsd
I am torn, kernel 3.8 with device tree support will be out soon, but you have to upgrade uBoot for that

Thanks a lot, but it did not solve my problem..
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '======== Loading kernel ========

')

I realy suspect uImage to be broken, could you please post you uImage?

I suspect if this is broken, so is everything else?
Here is how to get uimage and modules
cd /ToWhereTheRootfsIsMounted/
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'wget http://us.mirror.archlinuxarm.org/armv7h/core/linux-cubox-3.5.7-9-armv7h.pkg.tar.xz
tar xf linux-cubox-3.5.7-9-armv7h.pkg.tar.xz')
Always sync before reboot

Ok so I went out and bought a new 8Gig micro SD card, different behavior but, still no joy.

This is from console:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'Loading file "/boot/uImage" from mmc device 0:1 (mmcda1)
4246160 bytes read
## Booting kernel from Legacy Image at 02000000 ...

Image Type: ARM Linux Kernel Image (uncompressed)
Data Size: 4246096 Bytes = 4 MB
Load Address: 00008000
Entry Point: 00008000
Verifying Checksum ... OK
Loading Kernel Image ... OK
OK

Starting kernel ...

Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel.
mmcblk0: error -110 sending stop command, original cmd response 0x900, card status 0x400e00
')

I tried to google error -110, found nothing!

EDIT:
Connect display on HDMI and it stops after :
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[ OK ]Started udev Coldplug all Devices.')
if that gives any clue (I'm clueless)
/EDIT

Any idea?
