downloading package for another computer

Postby area47 » Thu Mar 07, 2013 7:28 am

Hi everyone.

In my googling for other things I have seen this but for the life of me can't remember where.

I need to download samba package plus dependencies for a raspberry pi that is not connected to the internet. I would be very grateful if someone could point me to the right place.

thank you

thank you dhead666 for your response.

I looked at your link not quite sure how a list of hosting companies would do it for me.

Anyway, farther Googling found this which is what I was looking for "# pacman -Sw name_of_package"

Christ I hate being a noob

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('area47', 'I') looked at your link not quite sure how a list of hosting companies would do it for me.

You can go to any of those mirror hosts in your browser and navigate the directory structure and download whatever packages you like as files.
