I've read all the threads and searched all around. I'm pretty sure you cannot do this but I just wanted to make sure cause I got a vague inkling that there may be some gpt support in some new version of uboot. Basically, I have an 8gb flash disk and a 3tb usb drive formatted gpt obviously. when uboot scans the partitions it just hangs because it can't recognize it. Just to be clear, I do not want to boot of it it, I don't care about it. I just want uboot to skip it and move on to my flash disk which it's not doing. Is there some way I could modify one of the uboot firmware strings to just not scan that device? maybe by uuid or something. not sure just thought I'd throw it out there. I'm not really interested in hybrid MBR but if thats my only option.. I guess thats what I'll do. thanks.
