Postby jmandawg » Fri Apr 12, 2013 3:56 am

Hi all,

Haven't messed with my pogo in a while. Did a system update tonight and now it won't boot. i think it updated to systemd.

This is what i'm stuck at, any suggestions?

yeah seems like initscripts got removed. The easy way is to reinstall. The hardway is to try to repair the installation using another bootable usb stick and perhaps running pacman -Sy --root=<mointpoint of your broken installation> initscripts. That's if you did not upgrade to systemd.

Thanks for the help. I guess i will re-install. Though i rarely do it, It seems like 9 out of 10 times that i run pacman -Syu on these devices I end up having to re-install. :|
