Reinstall Arch Linux on PogoPlug v2 without ssh password

Postby tttmack » Tue May 14, 2013 7:08 pm

I am a linux noob and bought a PogoPlug v2 (E02) off of ebay. It was already setup with Arch Linux, but when I tried to login via ssh in Putty using the root account, it seems that the previous owner was not using the default password (root or ceadmin). So now I can't log in to reinstall a fresh copy of Arch Linux.

Is there any way I can reinstall a fresh copy or Arch Linux without this info? I'd like to use the PogoPlug as a NAS with some usb hard drives.

I am running Windows 8 on my computer, but could download Ubuntu and run in a VM if needed.

Thanks for your help!

Hi tttmack,

I'm happy I was able to help. Enjoy your new pogoplug. It served me quite well for the time I had it.
