device suggestions

Hello, I'm now running Raspberry Pi as a home file and multimedia streaming server and "home cloud storage". However, I don't see it as the best device for that purpose, so I'm going to try to ask you on this forum for your ideas.

I want something, which has sata port and 1Gb LAN and USB maybe. Since I wont connect it to lcd, no GPU (and HDMI and other video outputs) is needed. Also SD card or sound output or whatever else multimedia thing is not needed too. ARM is also not a must; maybe it is not enough to mantain sata and 1Gb Lan..?

Any suggestions? It shouldn't be much more expensive than RPi
