Automatic Reboot When Booting into Pogoplug OS

Postby grayman4hire » Sat Jun 01, 2013 4:26 pm

Hello,

On my E02, I'm booting to a 1TB USB HD (4GB partition). I noticed (consistently) that when I do a hard reboot (pull the power cord), it always boot into the Pogoplug default OS first and I need to ssh in and execute a 'reboot' command before it will boot correctly into the HD and ALARM.

I would like to automate the 'reboot' if possible (when booting into the default Pogoplug OS). Any thoughts on how I can accomplish this? I would delay it for a minute or two, to give me time to SSH in and disable it, if needed.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks @hydro!!

What a hidden gem!!! Solved my booting issue.

Any reason not to default to this in general? Seems like it wouldn't cause any issue and can potential resolve some common USB hd/flash boot up issues.

Ask @ forum.doozan.com, we don't maintain that uboot & it's default states.
