serial console via USB

hello, i just installed the latest archlinux on my beaglebone black revA5C but now when i connect the bbb via mini usb to my pc (windows 7) no serial device will be recognized! how can i fix this? greetings andi

There is no serial to USB chip in the BBB (as opposed to the "normal" beaglebone). You have to use the network, or buy a FDDI cable (http://circuitco.com/support/index.php? ... ccessories)
