"Building Packages" Page Missing

Postby steadybright » Fri Oct 04, 2013 6:33 pm

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post (then point me in the right direction).

The "Build Packages" page (previously) located at:

http://archlinuxarm.org/developers/building-packages

...has gone missing (as has the main link to it.

At first I thought this was intentional, but I notice that the "Distributed Compiling" has a link to the (now missing) "Build Packages" page, so now I'm not so sure.

Would like to see the "Build Packages" page restored. If the page was removed deliberately, why?

It was out of date, lacked full information, and not worth maintaining when the Arch wiki has incredibly detailed information on using makepkg, creating PKGBUILDs, etc. Use the wiki for the information that was previously there.
Arch Linux ARM exists and continues to grow through community support, please donate today!

The link in the page I mentioned above (Distributed Compiling) needs updating then, since it refers to the now defunct page.
