Pogoplug v4 appears to be bricked

Hello,
I had a working Pogoplug v4. I had alarm working successfully 6 months ago, so this is the second time I've gone through the installation. Again, I followed the installation instructions here:

But after the reboot, I just got the flashing green light.
So I attempted a revert with the revert-folder trick. That didn't work; flashing green light (again, it'd worked for me in the past).

So I finally attempted the instructions here to install alarm on a fresh USB using my Ubuntu VM:

Still no luck. The device will not boot with our without this USB. Flashing green light every time.

Did I brick my device? Any suggestions for next steps?

Last night, I got the same problem as you.
What worked for me was to make de Reinstallation procedure from archlinux, but change de format of the drive.

change
mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdx1

to:
mkfs.ext3 /dev/sdx1

and let me know if it works.

So I tried reinstalling Archlinux and I kept getting a wget: short write error when downloading the archlinux tar. I tried several things and then ended up bricking it. Now it just blinks green for about 5-10 seconds then blinks red. Then reboots and cycles through that endlessly. I'm trying to figure out how to unbrick it, but no dice so far. I'll post about the short write elsewhere, but does anyone know what the blinking green then blinking red endless cycle means? Thanks.
