Hi, and thanks in advance to those who could answer this question.
I m new to the forum and as well to Linux. The thing is that I ve already installed a Linux distro I wanted to try on a drive. Installer says succesfully installed but it lacks of GRUB, the bootloader. The installer of that distro was unable to perform this step for unknown reasons.
I m reading on the main menu from the Archlinux installer " It allows you to install Arch Linux or perform system maintenance" that´s the thing I was wondering if maybe I could install just the GRUB with Archlinux on MBR of that drive which already contains a Linux OS ,
So my drive, let´s suppose it is sda its MBR formatted and it is got an ext4 partition for / and home =79GB, a swap=4GB and an storage drive fat 32 =27GB with no OS. following this order.
Wich commands could I use to perform this operation, installing GRUB on the MBR of this drive ?, I already know how to change keyboard and check the internet connection with Arch Installer the only thing left to do on this drive is adding up GRUB, would be nice to know how. Thanks a lot!.
