Simple IPTV addon for Kodi

Hi All,

I have compiled the simple iptv addon for Kodi from AUR (aur/kodi-addon-pvr-iptvsimple-git r74.23defeb-1 )
It compiles ok but when I try to use it, I get the following error in the kodi log:

Anyone know what the issue is?

BACKGROUND: I have the mumudvb tv server working on my XU3 and it display channels just fine on VLC, no pauses, no stutters, unlike tvheadend which I have issues with.... but to get the channels into kodi I need the iptv addon to work ....

Not really a solution for the error you encounter, but I had success using the addon that comes with openelec.

Unfortunately openelec seem to block downloads of their addons in the browser (probably some user agent check), so I installed openelec on a separate sd card and copied the addon over.

I'm using the stable kodi 15.2. Are you using a newer version? That might explain the undefined symbol...

Same issue happens with 15.2, will try the openelec one ...

I have resolved this. I used the latest git version of the addon (master branch) and it works in Kodi 16.0 alpha3 just fine.

However I get similar buffering issues as I had with tvheadend so I think on the odroid platform there are some issues with the client and server being on the same box.

(The server and client separated and all is good ...) (I have tried all four combinations of kodi/vlc clients with tvheadend/mumudvb server backend)

So it seems on odroid, there is some sort of networking/socket/buffering issue that needs to be resolved.
