missing library during pacstrap

Postby zeke » Thu Jun 30, 2016 7:48 pm

I am reinstalling Arch on my android device (LG G3) using Linux Deploy. It worked previously, but I hadf a file corruption and decided to start again from scratch. I have tried several times, deleting the .img file and starting over from scratch. Always the same outcome. I tried installin gFedora 22 and it installed correctly (though there was a problem with firefox v38 it ships with, and I use Arch on every other device I have, so I would like to revert back again.

When I try to install, all the pacstrap files are downloaded, but when pacman begins to install them, I get a fatal error:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '/usr/bin/pacman: error while loading shared libraries: liblz4.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory')

I have tried three different mirrors, including specific ones (co.us and ca.us) and the generic mirror.archlinuxarm.org.
I also updated my busybox and Linux Deploy's operating environment, but the behavior remains unchanged.

I have not been able to find anything relevant to this problem via search engines.

EDIT: Not sure if it is relevant or not, but I am getting frequent notifications from tar that the extended header SCHILY.fflag is not recognized as many of the packages are downloaded. That seems to be a trivial warning that I can ignore, is this correct?
