[ZedBoard] USB support?

I am booted into a fresh (and updated) installation of Arch Linux ARM on a ZedBoard, but when I plug a USB device into the OTG port, neither dmesg nor lsusb shows anything. More precisely, dmesg doesn't show anything new upon inserting or removing the device, and lsusb always comes up empty. But from what I can tell, USB support is built into the kernel. And when I boot into a Xillinux installation on the same board, I get dmesg and lsusb output when I plug in the device. What am I missing here?

I have exactly same problem. USB does not work on Arch Linux ARM on Zedboard.
