[java-rxtx] 2.2pre2-6 has undefined symbols in librxtxSerial

Hi there. As it it states, missing symbols in the package.
This is the same bug:

I could toss a PR myself, but I'm sort'a new here. I would be glad if you opened a bug and fixed it, or send me a link so that I'd do this myself, if this is possible for a stranger.

I'm not really sure what I should have tried in the first place. This patch [2] is not seen in the commits to java-rxtx package in [1], even in the last October commit (I guess this is the three months you're referring to). The lib seems to be working on Debian/Ubuntu without tweaking (I found no patches of this kind, grepping through apt-get source librxtx-java, you can see Debian patches there [4]). That's why [3] their official repo don't have that patch either, moreover it looks haunted. I cloned the arch community repo, and the source in PKGBUILD is coming from [5], which is ancient (2009). My system is fresh, not a month old, so I have a slight hunch the bug is still there.
I'll try and make PR myself, but I'm not familiar with the process, so any help is appreciated.

1. ArchLinux ARM has the package at version 2.2pre2-6.1 not 2.2pre2-6
2. ArchLinux ARM mostly builds packages unmodified from upstream, but the ones that need to be modified or are specific to arm are in the github repo https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs
3. You can check package versions and patches for them also in https://archlinuxarm.org/packages
4. Finally, the patch you mentioned is already in 2.2pre2-6.1 https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUIL ... 75fc50eefc
5. I meant you didn't even try running the package.

The only thing I can think where you went wrong is maybe you confused ArchLinux with ArchLinuxARM ?
