WDLXTV is a whole different beast from the purpose here at Arch Linux ARM. I run that software on my WDTV Live, but that's as far as it gets.
MiniDLNA is a program for your plug computer, to turn your plug into a DLNA-compatible media streaming device, so that it can stream audio and video to a display device such as the WDTV using DLNA. It is not designed to be run on a WDTV, that defeats the whole purpose. The WDTV can already play media from attached storage.
You should be installing MiniDLNA on your plug computer (Sheeva, Pogo, Dockstar, etc.), assigning audio/video folders on storage attached to the plug, and then on the WDTV you can then see and play all the media by going to Video -> Media Servers -> Name-of-your-device. If you don't have a plug computer, you're in the wrong forum, sorry.
