[SOLVED] [Raspberry Pi 4] linux-raspberrypi4 upgrade

Postby mati9 » Mon Jan 13, 2020 7:59 pm

Hi everyone,

recently I updated linux-raspberrypi4 package to 4.19.93-version. It ran mkinitcpio as usual and created a boot image successfully. I rebooted the device, but when I type uname -r, I get $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '4.19.79-1-ARCH'). Does anyone know why the old kernel is loaded and not the new one?

Sounds like your /boot is not mounted.

Thank you for your response. You were exactly right. My fstab lacked $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '/dev/mmcblk0p1 /boot vfat defaults, noatime 0 2')

Now the new kernel is loaded on boot :)
